The Journées de Physique Mathématique Lyon is an annual advanced school in mathematical physics. The topic for 2015 is Quantum Computing. There will be a set of 4 lecture courses aimed at graduate students and postdocs in mathematics, informatics and theoretical physics, but all interested scientists are welcome to participate as well.
The main courses are:
Introduction to quantum computing (Stéphane ATTAL, UCB Lyon)
Quantum algorithms(Omar FAWZI, ENS Lyon)
Quantum information theory (Matthias CHRISTANDL, Copenhagen)
Experimental Realisations (Daniel ESTEVE, Saclay)
Three individual seminars will complement the lectures.
Location
All lectures will be in room Fokko du Cloux, 1st floor of the Batiment Braconnier, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Campus de la Doua
Directions from Gare de Lyon-Part-Dieu:
After arriving at Lyon Part Dieu follow the signs to the tram to either the western or eastern side of the station (both sides will work). Take tram line 1 (western side of the station) or 4 (eastern side) in the direction of La Doua - IUT Feysinne. Get off at the stop "Université Lyon 1". The math building (Batiment Braconnier) is next to the stop at the left in the direction of the tram.
